If you have tarps under pallets it works well. Already have tents over it and there's a reason they've used tarps forever and a day for around the world transport. Particle board is not that commonly used- just basic wood. Was out of touch until now- working on things related to the parade until very late last night...

Okay great. I live in queens, about 20 minutes from where the pallets can be picked up. I have no problem making a few trips with my jeep or maybe we can find someone with a bigger truck depending on how many we need. I will be in the park most of the day in media.

I know at least one other person has a truck, maybe if needed we can create some list of people able to transport, assuming such a thing doesn't already exist.

See below. I just got this email from a man who has one son in OWS NYC and another in OWS PHILLY. He can bring 20 pallets in on Friday or Saturday morning. He's coming from Allentown PA so he wants to be sure we can use them. He can also bring in 4x8 sheets of 1" thick insulation board.
So A) shall i tell him yes come!
and B) should i send him directly to Zuccotti and set him up with a specific person to meet him.
I would come down myself but I am running a writing workshop for veterans Friday through Sunday and will be tied up with that. I can give him some $ for gas.
Please get back to me ASAP i would hate for this amazing offer to pass us by!

Subject: wooden pallets
Hi, my name is Ron Smith my son Sam is at OWS NY the other Ian is at OWS Philly. I notice that you are in need of wooden pallets. I can bring in a pickup load (about 20 pallets) either Friday evening or Saturday morning. I am coming in from the Allentown, PA so I don’t want to make the trip with my truck unless you need them. I usually just take the bus to visit OWS. I can also bring in 4x8 sheets of 1” thick insulation board. I you want me to bring them in should I drop them off at Zuccotti Park or at Fulton St.?
