I'm really sorry to hear about your equipment problems. We've been having

difficulty finding a out a safe place to keep our radio gear lately as

well. I don't know of an official list for this, but some camera makers

maintain a database of serial numbers for stolen equipment, such as

http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Warranty/Lost_Stolen/index.asp. Hope this
