I attended a great community town hall in Chinatown in Spanish, Chinese and English with an audience of about two thirds Chinese-Americans and about one third Latino-Americans. Incredible excitement about OWS. They draw the dots between the developers who are upscaling their neighborhoods and evicting and pricing them out of their own homes, and the banks that are bankrolling those developers. They intend to create a series of actions -- but I can't speak for them, and I don't have to: you will all be hearing and seeing them soon enough.
CAAAV had a bank transfer day event earlier in Chinatown. The town hall was organized by National Mobilization against Sweatshops and Chinese Staff and Workers Association, with the help of AALDEF.
