To start scripting these episodes, combination of in studio and ENG field recordings, let's start a thread on media.nycga.net now. To me, humanity's biggest tool is consent, the root of the decision making tool, "consensus". This property is often counter-intuitive to the dominant inclinations, and the practice of which challenges the human spirit to be incredibly sensual. Individuals and groups practicing these tools must learn to achieve goals against the odds of their upbringing, and can have a great reward.
This would be a great place to start, as well as inside the heart of the community.

So, I'm doing my best to help coordinate media on a national level.
Last Friday I had a meeting with some people in LA who have a full
functioning production studio and are looking to create something
similar to what's being discussed in this thread. In fact, I was
thinking about MNN during that meeting.
What I would really like to see is something similar to the format of
Democracy Now; where you have a host reading Occupational News from
all over and showing footage from around the country. Maybe even some
short video pieces submitted by various occupations could be shown.
Then, the host(s) interviews guests (Chris Hedges, Cornell West, the
guy with the dollar over his mouth, etc.) or has someone on the show
who can take calls. (We did the call in thing on MNN already with
Henry from "Conversations with the 1%" and it worked well).
This show can then be mirrored in LA and that way we have shows on
both coasts. If its a weekly show, the New York show could be at on
end of the week (say Monday) and the LA show on the other end (say
Friday). The shows should be put up online and ready for download as
audio podcast or video stream.
I agree that the hosts should rotate to avoid celebritization, but
hosting should be professional preferable someone with a journalism
background or at least experienced in public speaking.
Let me know if this resonates and I'll help move on it.
