Sustainability has been working hard to keep the camp, especially
Kitchen, Medic, and Media, in non-destructive, human-produced energy.
The energy cycles we've been using are mere prototypes (a temporary
fix). Last night we had a crack team of critical mass OWS riders to
bring in the bicycles, and today electricians are working again
tirelessly to finish the generator stands. Thurs we will review
architects plans for small wind turbines -- we don't get much for
solar in the park, but wind is at a surplus. We apologize for any
lull in powering the different stations / working groups, and we
really appreciate your patience...we are all in this together, we are
the future, post-peak oil and self-sustainable. And, we are winning!
