It looks like the photographer, however innocently, may not have been
helping this issue with the way that they processed the photos colors
and tones. Yes, the rich contrasts around the edges of the images make
for vivid viewing, but it seems that for whatever reason, many photos'
skin tones seem to be washed out to produce lighter-than-natural
captures (possibly the photog's use of an LED flash exacerbated this?
just a guess). Then again, the image contrast issue seems to apply
more to the thumbnailed images than the blowups that come when you
click on them...maybe the photographer could adjust his thumbnail
renderings so they more accurately retain the color balances of the
full pics? (And while they're at it, re-arrange the distribution of
these on the page somewhat?)
