Switching the southeast livestream tent is something OccupyNYC has to discuss, but the Media tent is a bit more clear.  Thorin recognizes that as a for-profit leader of an independent media group  he needs to leave the Media Tent so that the Media Working Group can use the space intended for them. The question remaining is when. Can town planning help him relocate? even though he's not a working group, him moving would be to help one. I believe the new tents arrive on Tuesday. Dallas, Fix has been representing media at town planning. I'd consult with him to make sure we don't give them mixed messages.

I am in a town planning meeting right now and we are discussing the new army tents which made me think about where and how media works in the square.

Media group and livestream expanded from the "center camp" into an additional space on the south east corner.

I see advantages to being in both spaces.   Ideally, the main area would have room for traditional media to work, coordinate projects, charge gear, and liason with other groups in the cluster.

The second location on the SE corner could be expanded  to an 11x11 tent focused more on livestream,   broadcasting studio, and on site personnel quarters/secure gear storage.

Architecture is supposedly bottom lining the current tarp  cluster area.   I for one prefer a little more division between areas in the cluster.  Its hard to work there as it is, and there is still the resolution of Thorin's participation in the area per his "independent " status.

I just want to get some thoughts about what kind of working space(s) you prefer.
