Basically just so you guys know, we are sending people to help support our brothers and sisters as they try to take tahrir this friday to stop the military junta to keep improsining more than 20,000 people arrested by them so far, to stop military trials for civilian detainees, and to help our brothers and sisters in egypt. This is a very different project from sending election monitors to egypt - there is a serious concern among many people in egypt that the current election can be neither free no fair given than scores of activists are in jail without trial, that there is no free expression, that the main parties controll most of the resources. the list goes on.
You as a working group, have pushed through a proposal that in a sense endorses all of that oppression. we feel your delay to get more information while the press is running with the story that OWS is endorising this process is completly unacceptable. I really do not see how you guys are building movements with any of these actions.

the only people who are going now are not going on behalf of OWS but rather global rev - and that will be part of the narrative.

I also wonder if those who go... will now be labelled "OWS Leaders" by
the world media....
