At least this many books are not destroyed, and are at W 57th St.

I just got back and they said nothing is being released today because "they found needles and that sort of stuff amongst the merchandise seized" they are closed and not taking any inquiries until 8am at the earliest tomorrow. I can go by there again maybe around 1pm tomorrow and ask again.

I'm just leaving the courthouse where judge heard petition to extend restraining order against NYPD. The decision will be made around 3pm. The judge seemed fair and often times sympathetic.
Anyway, someone mentioned in passing that everything was hauled off in sanitation trucks and being stored somewhere on 57th, I think. IDs required to reclaim. It wasn't discussed more than that. That's all I know.

I think @quinnnorton might have tweeted early this AM that the FDNY was going to have all of the material "in a garage" and that if people showed up with "proper ID" they could collect belongings.

Which might be code for "you can't prove a connection between your ID and these books, so you can't have them or anything else."
