- Occupy Faith Press Conference Tonight: Faith Leaders Open Doors &
Demand that Mayor allow Occupation to continue in Zuccotti Park

- OWS "2nd Month" Birthday Takes on New Significance

in the last 36 hours, Faith leaders from around the city have been declaring their outrage at NYC's clearing of Zuccotti Park, demanding that the Mayor allow the Occupation return to Zuccotti Park.  Tonight we would like ALL OF YOU to gather with us on the front steps of Judson Memorial Church at 5:30p, to declare our intent to carry this movement forward (see press release below).  For a little taste of yesterday's events, check out this piece from the Odyssey Network:; "Faith Leaders Respond to Eviction from Zuccotti Park."

Naturally this gives tomorrow's "2nd Month Anniversary" of Occupy Wall Street even more significance.  We urge you to join us in this day of action, not only bringing yourself and your faith communities, but helping us in organizing ALL OF THE 99% (maybe even the 100%) to turn out and send a message about the importance of the Occupy Movement.  Help turn-out your friends at the grocery store, the Dentist's Office, even the construction workers across the street.  This is a movement for everyone: let's show the whole world that we really mean it.

Faith Leaders can join us on the Southern Tip of Foley Square at 4:30p, behind the stage.  Come in full vestments, and join us in leading a legal march across the Brooklyn Bridge.  This is an important moment; the movement continues to build, and we believe that the city's mistake in clearing out Zuccotti Park will represent a tremendous build in the days and weeks ahead.  Please join us in making history tomorrow.

in solidarity,
Rev. Michael Ellick - OccupyFaithNYC
