I'm coming down on RJ's side here. Symbolic victories won't stop foreclosures, end police oppression, create jobs, or give food and shelter to those without it.  They'll make us feel good for a moment, but I don't think that's enough.  I'd love to see Bloomberg go, but unless he's replaced by a genuine radical (which I imagine the Deputy Mayor is not), our problems will remain, if not worsen.

I've always been against demands, 
but I think OWS should call for Bloomberg to step down. 
He's the perfect symbol.
