Sorry, I work full time.  I don't get down there till 6-7, though I suddenly fall "sick" yet again this thursday.  How long do you guys meet for?

Please please please do not form a new working group. As discussed at the coordination meeting this morning, we are experiencing severe working group creep and we absolutely do not need an additional working group.

I think that park-wide-wifi and cell tower repeaters are definitely something we need to shoot for and while it would be great if a team developed to really take charge of this effect, it really should fall under the umbrella of the internet working group (of which I am a member). In fact, we have been in discussing this topic in the internet working group for quite some time, but right now we have been focusing on the new nycga site. That does not mean that the accessibility issue is unimportant, and we would love for someone to take it on. Bobby - are you able to come to the internet working group meeting at 5:00 today? We will meet at the info counter and move somewhere else from there.

Nate Freitas and the Internet Working group list also CC'ed here, who has been in touch with me about this same issue.

Hey all,
I am in contact with an individual in nyc who desires to give the park full
internet connectivity, as well as cell phone repeaters, different types of
broadband access, server infrastructure, and physical technical IT space
within 1 block of the park. I need to talk directly to people about this
however, and you guys are hard to track down. Ted (Earth summit) hasn't
been answering his phone, and Ted (awesomepants) apparently had his phone
stolen. Devvin (devon?) no one knows your phone number.

Someone should call me at 908-285-7948

Hi Evy,
Thanks for your email. I'm going to start a new email thread with your
concern for others to follow since I think the topic of internet
accessibility is VERY important.

Perhaps you or someone you know would like to help set up a working group
for this purpose? (Back a few weeks a group for net-neutrality was
but I've not been following their progress.) Maybe someone else in this
group can help?

May I offer a little assistance. It fast becoming impossible to keep up

without the means of a computer should be kept in the loop.

Further, the discussions/requests/notices are becoming rather closed
with only people who understand the technical side of your cause.

Do you have an outreach group who is considering the impact on those who
cannot follow all internet discussions?
