I was in the media center this evening as it was being setup. There are 3 drives I believe,2 of which act as a backup if the main one fails. I do believe multiple computers can access it at the same time. The drive is currently on the floor next to the generator which poses a big risk to be damaged. I will not be around until 830 this evening but maybe someone else can take steps to protect it from getting stepped on and also from ring damaged by the weather.

Can multiple machines read and write simultaneously, or is the volume hosted on one box?

Can someone check to see if a spare disk is included, in case one of the disks in the set fails?

Hey all,
Quacy was nice enough to set us up with a RAID5 8tb dlink server media
center. We can access it when connected to the network and also upload
to it via ftp.

Instructions for setting up:
Download drivers from the attachment. (windows vista/7 only! mac
drivers are coming soon! asap!)
disconnect from current network ssid
connect to network ssid cisco68575 (pw: revlocal)
after connected, install the drivers from device manager for dns-343
drive should be accessible via network drives with username and
username: globalrev1 pw: globalaccess

to upload via ftp you need an ftp client which you can download for
free, i like filezilla. For those who don't know this means that using
your ftp client you can upload media from any place that has internet
access info:
username: globalrev1
pw: global access
port: 21
