I have great news! nycga.net
will be launching a new powerful website today, Thursday October 13.
We are holding a training at 16 Beaver Street @ 9:30 pm Thursday October 13th. Please send ONE representative from your working group to be trained on how to use the web site. If you can bring a lap top, please do!
Why are YOU getting this e-mail?
You have been listed as a contact for a working group in the New York City General Assembly. If you check the list of cc'ed e-mails you'll notice that they all share the @nycga.net
ending. Here's what's going on:
Let's take firstname.lastname@example.org
as an example. This e-mail address is forwarding mail to the contact e-mails (that you gave to info) for food working group. Let's say that email@example.com
are the contact people for food. When an e-mail is sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
that e-mail is forwarded on to both Bobby and Liz.
Why are we doing this?
To better facilitate connections. email@example.com
will always be the contact e-mail for the food working group, even if Bobby and Liz move on or don't want to field e-mails anymore. We can swap e-mails in and out but keep the forwarding address the same.
If you DO NOT want to have e-mails for your corresponding group sent to you please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org
