Solidarity from Vancouver, Canada.

We hit the streets tomorrow as well.

Lots of different groups joining, we have nearly 4000 "attending" on facebook.

It's exciting to see this many people working together...sharing, supporting, loving....this may be the biggest attack against the corporations that would have us competing against each other....back-stabbing, cheating, stealing.....

And now we are crossing borders to connect....

It's a beautiful thing.

One Love.

Solidarity from Occupy New Haven!

We start tomorrow with a march around the New Haven Green at 12 noon Eastern.  Hopefully we'll have the livestream up by then at http://www.livestream.com/occupynewhaven, but I don't know yet.  We have about 500 confirmed attendees so far, just from Facebook.  We may see up to 1,000 or more.

AND... the City of New Haven and the NHPD are on our side.  They are also providing us with porta-potties.  :-)  Our Governor, Dannel Malloy visited Occupy Hartford recently to check in and see how they were doing, so the Governor of Connecticut also supports us.  If you want to talk, come to our organizing page at http://facebook.com/occupynewhaven.  The march (and hopefully the Occupation) will be massive.

Thanks, and stand strong!!

Please respond to Joan
Please forward far and wide:

Hello Fellow Occupiers,

We at the Occupation Communication Committee at OccupyLA are collecting as much info as we can about other occupy sites and need the participation of people like you to help us understand the situation at each camp. We want to learn from other occupations so that we may better ourselves. I have attached a PDF of how we are hoping to open communication initially (here is a link to the googledoc of the same file).

We hope that with the work of dedicated people we can begin to amass enough info to explain the similarities and differences of each occupation, so that when a new occupation takes root it can be equipped with this knowledge.  Please be sure to ask for permission to videotape any one-on-one interviews (get this consent on tape) and tell them that their participation is voluntary and becomes public information/oral history that may be used for academic, journalistic, and movement purposes.  These interviews and field reports will be shared publicly through a creative commons license for anyone to use.

Best,
Occupy In Solidarity
