Hi 99%,
I looked for a place to ad an idea, but only find discussion forums.
Please tell me where to post this:

There is no democracy without a fair, open voting system.
Our antiquated, biased voting system favors the two major parties.
In a 3- way race, a candidate may win with 34%.
We must choose the lesser of two evils, or a spoiler, or waste our vote.
A better system is Instant Run-off Voting.
It guarantees majority winners, 50% +,
no spoilers, no wasted votes, no expensive run-offs.
When you vote for more than two candidates, simply rank them 1st ,2nd ,3rd.
You vote your preference.
When the votes are counted, if there is a majority winner, she wins.
If no majority winner, the lowest ranking candidate’s ballots are recounted for the voter’s second choices, then redistributed, to the remaining candidates,
until a majority winner emerges.
Voila Instant Run-off.
Simple enough to hand count.
It encourages voter interest and better candidates.
Constitutional -one person / one vote.
Used in many US cities and countries.
Voters understand it, and like it, its fun.
McCain, Obama, Ron Paul, and Ralph Nader, endorse it.
I think Occupy should demand Instant Run-off Voting.
Non-partisan / non-profit.
FairVote.org

Instant Run-off Voting (IRV)
Vote 1, 2, 3.
Majority winners, No spoilers, No expensive Run-off
FAIR AND SIMPLE.
Voters like it.

Thanks, William Gilbert
