The "hack" in "hackathon" carries the sense of creative exploration and casual software engineering, not breaking into  systems illegally. It basically means a bunch of techies get together to work on stuff collaboratively and to enjoy each other's company.

Just a reminder and a confirmation, there will be an Occupy Together Hackathon in NYC on Friday starting at noon, no matter what happens tomorrow morning at Liberty Plaza.

It is at 632 Broadway (between Houston and Bleecker), 3rd floor office of Meetup. We're ordering pizzas based on the number of RSVPs, so if you're planning to eat please do tell us you're coming!
