Sorry I'm still a little confused.I think everyone in the media team is amazing at what they do and I am happy to be a part of this with an awesome bunch of people. I am the weatherman in the group and use my knowledge to the best of my ability to let you guys know when the rain will come and other weather issues. Besides that I have helped out other people with other media issues. I have gotten on global revolutions live stream with a weather report and recently I've done the same with thorins and have helped him set it up a bit as well. I just am unclear how the media team as a whole views thorins channel. I do not want to be distanced from the rest of the media group by doing a weather report or something similar with thorins channel. I want to continue to work with all of you great people. Maybe someone can clear it up for me.

I'm sorry I think you should talk to Thorin before telling this to people cos is not true that channel represent only his views since there's a lot of people that livestream also with that channel like dwayne, hero or me since the very first day....

I spoke to some people on thorins team today and encouraged them to have a meeting and discuss the hiarchy issue. I think what will happen is that either that group adapts the same principles or a number of people working with him will be joining us in the near future. On Oct 17, 2011 9:22 PM, "Victoria Sobel" <email@example.com> wrote:
we should definitely have a meeting about this- thorin has been on the agenda for many days, he and his livestream channel are hierarchal and represent only his views which to this point have been privately funded. he isn't a part of this media committee formally, and has claimed not to be responsible to the general assembly, this precludes him from general assembly funding- his channel merely benefits from having a user name which implicates being a part of the working group. his stream unfortunately does not conform to any of the principles set out but the livestream subcommitee- which to this point have been posted to this google group. we will finish up our livestream primer and faq and have it posted as soon as possible. we would like very much for this issue to reach some sort of resolution.
