True. I'll probably have to skip this meeting. Next time!

Hi Katie -
I'm at 109 Greenwich, but I don't think that's where it's at.

I'm at Charlotte's place - where is the meeting tonight?

Tom, I vote/concensusify/whatever: Yes please on the icecast services
(http://www.icecast.org/).... This would look like something FLO can get
behind and help get implemented in larger scale too. This can be a tool to
support workgroup/ga meetings in general? Can FLO and IWG members please
pause, take a look at ICECAST and offer wavey-hands up/down so this can get
ratified as a "plan"? Any blockers please explain thoroughly... why?
Maybe take the pressure off of tonight's meeting for live streaming since
there is not already a solution in place? (unless somthing that works that
is ready pops up).
Perhaps re-using the live google docs, some basic do's and dont's to keep it
workable. It self organized pretty well, if we spend a quick few minutes
with a how to comment/add questions at end page for the folks online... the
note thing again with a couple of in-meeting typists could work in a pinch
until a better open solution is online?
Perhaps some guidance on how you want comment from online folks, I think the
highlight text and right click for "comments" worked well in the interface.

Would USTREAM / Livestream work?
I could also set up an Icecast server (not tonight, but for the
future) on one of my Rackspace machines, and we can stream that using
Nicecast Studo from a laptop.

Bump! IS THERE INTEREST IN STREAMING THIS MEETING?

Sunday's meeting was productive, for those who happened to be able to
make it. For the rest of the souls interested, willing, capable, etc -
they had to content themselves with my ADHD-addled notes that became

In the name of helping participation, inclusiveness, etc I ask that we
define the location for todays (5PM) meeting ASAP. It should have
wifi, and a degree of quiet. The tactic of meeting at the park and
then defining a location does not help with coordinating. If there is
no opposition, can we say the same place as Sunday's meeting, by
Separately - would anyone like to offer suggestions of ideas on how to
get a reliable audio stream up in time for the meeting? By default, I
can try BlogTalkRadio again, failure Sunday was due to human error
Lastly, while IRC is great for those who are familiar with it, it
would be great to provide a chat for questions to ask that does not
necessitate downloading software (or is IRC now web accessible? shows
how much I know).
In sum, help with:
1) define location ASAP (or same place by default, and inform the desk
@ Liberty Park/Make a big sign?)
2) create a reliable audio stream
3) create a web accessible, noob friendly chatroom for questions
