Perhaps we can use nginx with php-fpm instead for better memory/request management? I sysadmin a few vps with these setups and can help out in this department,

Let me know

Hi Joshua -
We tried to deploy a mirror of the site to the panix server
last night and in doing so the server became unresponsive (since
around 2 AM last night).  I can't ssh in, and there's no admin that I
can get to that will let me trigger a reboot of the server.  I think
apache ate up all the memory (wordpress) before I was able to get on
and shut it down.

I installed mysql on this server and imported a db from the nycga
developers.  The code for got checked out to
/var/www/ - I put a vhost in apache for this as well.

We have an interim solution in place for hosting so it's not
critical that this server is available for that purpose, but I want to
let you know that the server is offline.
