The bikes are pretty low-tech, but I'll work on it...

Do you have specs on the bicycle gens? We have seen this implemented
in multiple sites but not sure what design folks are working from.
Would love to learn more about the biodiesel gen too!
Solar would be huge in SoCal / Sunbelt, where we have significant
presence. It's practically useless in most other places, though we
applaud renewable sourcing where possible.
We would really love some "show & tell" here or in the OccupyTech
site. Many of us are just encountering problems other Occupations and
individual contributors have already solved.

The site is in shade all day, but we are in the process of implementing a biodiesel generator complemented by energy bicycles....

We are starting to see solar power applied more broadly at Occuptions
(see LA's recent Tweet). We had done some preliminary research on
options for systems here, we were wondering if anyone had resources on
best practices & utilization in occupations like LA to move this ahead
more quickly? We have a significant presence in the high solar
producing areas so see some promise here.
We are also curious what practices are being used to provide
connectivity in the occupations. We have been tinkering with
implementations here and may have some equipment to recommend / test /
lend on sites. Feel we can improve resource utilization here across
GAs by sharing optimal setups and specs.
