Please no more lists!!!  I am in sustainability WG, which has a renewable energy sub-group.  We are the ones coordinating the biodiesel gen (originally implemented under the guise of open source WG) with a charging/inversion center for the bikes and any other possible inputs.  If anybody else has ideas, they should join with us, it's much simpler...

there was interest in this from an academic listserve, is there a dedicated list/group for this topic?

The bikes are pretty low-tech, but I'll work on it...
