I think we want to be careful not to have too much overlap with offers/wants functionality between nycga and Permabank- once it's up, we should probably transfer what's on nycga at this point over to Permabank.

The link I was thinking of is on the "how to help" tab:

Donate Laundry and Shower

Comfort has created a form where you can sign up to host laundry and showers for the brave people holding the Plaza each night. Laundry and Shower Sign Up Form

I'd be happy to help if I could but unf. know zero about any of this.  I do know there are linkscanning products and services, some of which are free, that could do this automatically.  Esp as the site grows (hopefully exponentially) and people post links to resources it might be of great value.

We don't have a system in place for checking, but if you mail this list the specific links you find, we can get those added to the queue.

I'm writing with some trepidation as I haven't pored over all the many messages about how to post to this group but wondering if it makes sense to do some basic link checking on the new site, which by the way is amazing.

My random clicking around revealed some critical broken links (such as the laundry and shower signup) whose correction should certainly be prioritized.

Realize you have a zillion things to do, just thought this one was easy to automate and had high ROI.
