We have lots of plans and we're getting volunteers to help us process
all the volunteers! We just can't take nine women and make a baby in
one month. However, for those things that can happen in parallel, we
hope to get volunteers to begin to form new teams and communicate
across teams, so we don't step on each others' toes or duplicate work.

The Internet Working Group is starting a series of workshops
To Drum or not to Drum? WordPress or Drupal? How do we enable everyone
to have a voice on our web site? All our groups are facing group
dynamics issues. Workshops will range from very technical hands on to
group process issues for how teams can work together. There is limited
seating, Sunday, October 23rd, 9 pm for: Surviving Poisonous People in
Decentralized Groups We are reserving a number of seats for the web
administrators of other groups. And we need volunteers to help with
the door and cleanup. We plan to stream it so everyone can
participate, including online chat.

I know SSL isn't perfect (as I learned from Moxie Marlinspike's
excellent talk at DefCon this year), but it does seem to me that we
may be leaving ourselves open to HTTP session hijacking by not having
the logins happen over https://

Are there plans to address this somewhere down the road?

Just curious.
