I agree that this sucks and it's one of the worst examples so far of
somebody trying to ride the coattails of #ows, but wouldn't the phrase
fall under some kind of prior-usage provisions since there are already
things like the OWS Journal and occupywallst.org using the name?

"Occupy Wall Street." I already submitted this to Legal, but honestly,
I think everyone needs to spread the word on this, ASAP. We need to

unbelievable. there was chatter about this about two weeks ago, some
people in Legal were like "it's not important, we shouldn't worry
about trademarking our brand, because we're not a brand. yeah, right.
