Dallas, I think we should actually start at 6, which is what we did
last time. It's actually dark enough then, the energy is good and if
we wait for GA to end, we might be waiting quite awhile and run into
problems with noise and/or light ordinances.

I can let you know about kitchen tomorrow early afternoon. Do you know
what he wants to show and what the runtime is? The best set-up
situation is somewhere the screen can be elevated, like the steps. The
last time we used the library because we wanted to not be completely
in front of the police. But in terms of maximum viewing quality, on
the steps would be best.

Let me know your thoughts.

And Carl, I sent you an invite. Although keep in mind that anyone can
easily join by going to the group's page.

I'm available by phone as well. 254-681-8061

hi pam,

ok... waiting on final confirm form michael.

will be wednesday or thurs.    can you check with kitchen on popcorn
for 200 people?
i have the wireless headsets.

we will go live after GA/ or 930.    if GA is not done, should we have
ability to setup on other side of park?  or just start the films?
only problem is if the projection is being used for GA transcript.

Hi guys,

I'm from Occupy Cinema, the collective that put on last night's
screening. We absolutely can and should work together on this. We have
also been working on an audio solution (we found a good conference
call site that works so the audio would be accessible through anyone's
phones that call a number and dial a pin)

I talked to the kitchen about making popcorn as well. I think it could
be fun.

We've got the set-up process down for the screening. Here's a picture
from last night in case anyone missed it:

Also, we have our own google groups if anyone is interested in
joining.

Hi folks,

Interesting to see some overlapping efforts happening here, seems like
we need to start working together.

*Radio broadcast for sound:*

   - i tested out a low power FM transmitter last night with some other
folks on this list -- set it up at the Media center -- we could receive it
all across the park.  we could use this to broadcast MM across the park.

There is a little radio team that has been working this very mechanism
the last couple weeks. We've got a couple PART-15 transmitters, and have
done a number of tests in the square, partially transmitting the GA on
Saturday, working out the various technical kinks along the way. We've
had a several in person meetings and we've got a plan we've been working
on to make this happen. Just last night we worked up a proposal to bring
to the media team to turn this into something more of an official
subgroup.

We've done a bunch of research into the FCC regulations, talked with
Prometheus people, and looked into translation radio (which sounds like
what Dallas brough up on another thread regarding minutes?). It would be
great to work with you and others on this project!

Expect our proposal to show up momentarily, this is where you can find
us:

    email: owsra...@riseup.net
    list: pmra...@lists.riseup.net
    IRC: server: irc.indymedia.org ; channel: #pmradio
    Twitter: @owsradio

*Streaming/G+ hangout for video press conf w/MM:*

Regarding streaming, we setup an icecast relay of the radio stream that
we've been experimenting with, and were able to relatively easily
transmit the radio stream that was broadcasting the GA on Saturday.
