hello seth- we've had similar problems in nyc, our scale differences might play into different ways to handle the situation. though a bit uncoordinated we have a few different forms of security, de-escalation, and mediation- i know that they all have different non-violent techniques for dealing with agitators, and i have seen many of these techniques be hit or miss. its difficult to get a hold of anyone in camp because of the critical mass of people but i will try to reach out to a few of the individuals i know in these groups and see if they can help you out.

Oh, no. Same kind of thing happened at Occupy Berkeley Sunday night. Great sociological problem. If we were the 1%, we could afford to have them carted away. But, they are part of us.....I wish I could advise on what to do. The only thing I could think of was Restorative Justice circles...http://www.nycga.net/groups/restorative-justice/
