BIKE GENERATORS ARE COMING. Probably Saturday (today).  Time's Up!
members in the Sustainability Working Group have secured funds from GA
for 5 energy-producing stationary bicycles. How best to implement them
with Media at Zuccotti?  Our prototype is at the Sustainability desk
next to Sanitation, and we've been powering Kitchen with the energy
stored in the battery.

We're securing funds for at least 5 more.

Let's find a way to get Media in on this and off fossil-fuel-dependent
generators.  Let's see the NYPD or FD take away a bike.

just has to dig up their name and number and call me back. more soon.

I think these bottom two were already posted.  I know because I've
been through this while working in tv production that we aren't getting any
permits without insurance coverage.  (and here begins the run around).

*Gaseous Fuel Permit
*Fire Department New York City
Phone: (718) 999-0320 or (718) 999-1007

*Generator Permit
*Fire Department New York City
*FDNY Generator Notification:* Portable, Truck-mounted or any other

They were within their legal rights.  We can't have a generator
without getting a permit for one in this city.  I know that for a fact.  We
never got a permit.  I saw on the livestream that they did ask someone for
their i.d.  I just couldn't tell who the person was that gave their i.d.
