I'm just now catching up with emails- I've been dealing with the whole generator situation.
I think this OccupyWishList thing is great, and I don't feel there's much need to fuss about MoveOn- I think its clear at this point that nobody's can co-opt this phenomenon if they tried. I, for one, am not worried about being co-opted..
Anyway, Charles, thanks for sending this. It is of course very much in line with what we are doing. In fact, as you probably know, there is much data being collected by all sorts of means regarding needs, so the hope is that we will be able to aggregate as much as possible in Permabank.

hi all -
Below is a draft of a proposed email to Daniel Mintz.
hello Daniel -
We are writing as members of the Internet Working Group of the New York City General Assembly. Thank you for your work on OccupyWishList.org - we're looking forward to seeing great results from this idea. As it happens, this project parallels with work we are doing on a needs, resources and skills exchange called Permabank, which is one of several technology initiatives underway within out group to grow and connect the Occupy movement. We are interested to know if there is an opportunity to coordinate the work of MoveOn.org with our projects, hopefully to strengthen initiatives underway that have emerged from the needs and goals expressed by the GA, but also to avoid redundancy and overlapping efforts. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and discussing this with you directly.
