Kind Friends,

I have been dedicated to OWS since day one, but am having problems seeing some things clearly, as I am sure are many of you, too. I know my personal vision for the movement and what I can do, I know what I hope for from OWS...but, I'm confused! As important as our warriors on the ground are, this is the first internet revolution. Many people who cannot be on the ground are buying in, with varying technical skills and varying persuasive skills. Politics seems to develop almost before anything else. So, what someone put out as a good idea may have been made too early, may not align with the consensus, or may be redundant. After spending many hours responding to the local event in Oakland last night, I then came back to look at some of the technical groups and names. And, on November 14, 2011, I still can't figure them out.

I decided to do something about the situation, and created a simple wiki where groups can identify who they are, what they are, what role they play, who the contact person/people are, and the like. I recognize that a revolutionary movement should have some anonymity, but "Occupy My Group" is not where this should occur. When people hit internet pages that have the word "Occupy" on them, they want to know who, what, where, when, and why. So, I invite each and every person, who has been working diligently, or even just visiting, who has information about the various groups, to please visit the wiki and edit your page. Hopefully this will help clarify the various groups and teams working the tech part of OWS. Thanks!
