Echo the sentiment that we have nothing to hide. If you look at the big picture, we - concerned citizens that the state has been subsumed by powerful private interests and that every branch of the government - legislative, executive, judicial have all been infiltrated by big money (lobbyists, election finance, and flawed judicial appointment processes). As such, WE ARE LAW ENFORCEMENT, in the purest sense of the term.
Not only do we have nothing to hide, on the coming battlefield of real time public opinion mapping, issue documentation and collaborative argumentation, we have more educated people on our side than they do. We will unmask this infiltration in real time, using publicly available data, within the realm of the law and public opinion. It's really that simple: we are right, they are wrong. Our nation is no longer for sale. If that is "illegal" or "subversive" then the system has a legitimacy problem, and this becomes self evident for any intelligence officer to see. We do not advocate violence, only facts. So use your real name. Do not hide. Do not buy into the fear. We are bigger than that.

There are contexts in which this makes sense, and others where it doesn't. The choice of anonymity versus not should be a strategic one, not a "because someone says so", especially not when based on an "appeal to awe".

I personally want to feds to WORK for monitoring us. They beat us? we are idiots to just play by their rules, make it easy is foolish. We are very naive as a movement at times. Alot of highly experienced activists give valuable advice THAT WORKS that is too often ignored. We didnt invent activism or the wheel. If people are going to waste tax dollars, then lets make them fucking bankrupt.

Hi. I really wouldn't know how to change all of my names, etc...Also, this movement is about being transparent. It's time we start trusting one another.
If we are all busted for freedom of speech, someone is going to rescue us. I have nothing to hide. And, if there are idiots among us, they need to wise up.
Am I correct, or totally naive?

I think that as a group, though totally peaceful and well within all international law, being so heavily monitored, we advocate ALL USA OWS movement supporters to change private screen names, passwords, phone numbers ASAP and, if possible, start using different computers in different locations for NON google group related communications, and messaging more securely between camps, media. I think we are infiltrated more than expected before, and I would like to make fed bitches work for their monitoring of peaceful civilians. *It's illegal, we are not terrorists, and anyone talking like one needs to be flushed out before FEDS areest everyone to get at the idiots among us...
We need to be more mindful than we have been about phone calls. Not being paranoid, I just want to FUCK WITH them PSY-OPS the cops and feds back for the shit they put their people, human family through.
Still we must make it HARDER for us to be covered. make FEDS waste money on monitoring innocent civilians on an even more massive scale We need to drain their resources more. If you think it's stupid idea, I suggest you think again.
