Just read that anti-fracking group is coming to OWS!

Radio show about links between corporate pillaging of economy and climate:

Layan, I'm so glad you are interested in pursuing this!  Here are some links indicating their (350 and Tar Sands) support of OWS... specifically, Phil Aroneanu who made the last video is in NY, an organizer for 350 and would like to arrange teach-ins with scientists perhaps at OWS.  Can I send him your email address so you can talk directly?  I'm in CA with a daughter post-surgery this week.

thanks so much, Gail

Yes! This is really important!  I would be very interested in helping you organize this. How does 350.org want to be involved?

Also, has anyone talked about showing solidarity with the tar sands protests in DC?  There will be a Keystone xl pipeline demonstration in nyc on november 6 as well: http://events.tarsandsaction.org/officevisits/events/show/174

Activists have offered to participate in information session and/or have climate scientists speak at OWS.  I'm not sure who is scheduling such activities.  Please contact me!  witsendnj@yahoo.com or witsendnj@gmail.com.

There is a critically important link between corporate control of the media and government regulatory agencies and the important facts most people AREN'T getting about the dangers of climate change.

Plus, climate/environmental groups have large groups and dedicated supporters.  It's a great connection.

thanks,

Gail
