Greetings y'all,
Han here with PR team & the 52 Broadway space working group. You media peeps are kicking ass.

Quick point of info in relation to Andrew's concern re control of as many of you may be aware, since the beginning the domain has indeed been owned, and the website run, by an affinity group that has seen themselves as 'supporting OWS and the GA' but not necessarily bound by GA's decision-making, nor plugged into the internet working group, or other accountable structures.

After a serious incident (referred to below), there was understandable outrage, and there was a serious attempt to figure this out in various ways. Now, I believe a proposal is being hammered out to transfer the domain from the affinity group presently controlling it to the wider collective. I'm not privy to the current status of that proposal but I was part of a conversation to address this today and when I stepped back, a good solution seemed on the horizon and I suspect I would have received a call (which I have NOT received) itf it had gone off the rails. I could be wrong... but there's my 2 cents.

Until it's truly sorted, I agree wholeheartedly that it's problematic but hope this update is useful.

In solidarity,

Han Shan

There may be an issue with the domain name. Our donation pages were taken down and it is not representing us, namely by the site owner.

We must consider other options and consider waiting on promote right now. Also even if it Is used it should make a distinction that it is the on the ground website, whatever it is (btw one of us has )

What do we do folks?

This is exactly the kind of vids that need to be made.
Short, simple 30 sec. spots with dense info & clear voice.
