I think that transcription is a far better way to document the GA. If livestream is being archived, then there's your video. Doesn't have to be a big production IMO.
I also feel this way about many of the speakers and discussion groups. It was far more convenient for me to read Zizek's speech from yesterday, rather than watch the video (although he is a great speaker).

I agree. I've been audio recording them but never have time to go through them. Strictly archival. Better to write shit down for quick access to information. But still super cool to have the recordings.
