Bank of America in St.Louis also arrested people and eventually blocked the door when people tried to close out there. The November event does exist and is picking up steam. So far the Nov. 15 event on Facebook has over fifteen thousand attendees.

Have people seen these young women in Santa Cruz trying to close their BofA account and being refused? It's outrageous, and not the only time this has occurred.
The reaction of the bank managers should tell us one thing - they REALLY don't want people closing their accounts, and so perhaps we should make that a central message for OWS.
I've seen a couple of places that Nov. 15 is Close Your National Bank Account Day.
This seems like a good idea that people everywhere could do.
