Buy some Brook Brothers ties, lol. They said they support us but business is hurting.
Spurred on by the "hypocrisy of patronizing corporations" thread, I would like to get together a list of local, non-chain establishments whose business has flagged as a result of the police blockade (It's important to remember that it's not because of us, but because of police repression that these small shopkeepers are suffering). This should include food carts, etc, too. Then, when people want to donate food and stuff to the occupation, we can source it from local businesses and keep community relations good.
Anyone have any ideas as to how this might be encouraged?
