Everyone needs better domain names, that's where the problem begins. Occupywallst, occupywallstreet and we need something with wallstreet in it is what we must obtain to be on the answering end when people look for us. Vital.
Medias email responses/volunteering of 150 people has virtually flatlined. Not many offers from folks to shoot our work. We need to restart.
To do for OWS:
1. Negotiate takeover of domains.
2. Physical and internet: day, week and month calendar.
3. Physical + internet signup sheets for all groups. Media's needs: Name, contact, gear, experience/desired learning, location/travel schedule, video idea, website/demo reel.
4. Physical + internet working group sign up sheets per project (director, producer, coordinator, Cam A, B, C, audio, student) and shifts for outreach, liaison, person on call, trainer, and students aiming to be available 24/7.
5. We need huge outreach increase by our two groups to get people in the media dept asap by any means necessary.
I made a google form found on our media pg on nycga.net that you can fwd to professional media contacts to come down and help produce/teach when they can.
6. Media needs a budget for gear, and an inventory, so that we can pump out the outreach video content. Media is our biggest outreach.
7. Internet - Needing the domains and promotion of those domains together.

Subject: [NYCGA Internet] Meet with Outreach and other communications groups?
I'm Christian and I work with outreach. We've like to coordinate better
with the other outward facing working groups to figure out what all of
you are up to, see if there are areas we're we can coordinate better,
and share the needs that we see for information to get out to the 99%.
From the outreach perspective (and it seems like Chaz and I have
similar backgrounds) I'd echo what Chaz says below, but there are many
other things we'd like to discuss. In general we just get a lot of
feedback that it is hard to get info on what is going on. It seems like
this is a problem bigger than any one of our working groups and
something we should tackle in concert.
I'd like to set up a time to pull members from all the groups together
late next week or early next. By my count the groups are internet,
media, press, occupy wall street journal, graphics and outreach; if
there are others please let me know!
Since this is the internet groups I'm assuming that interested parties
will respond by e-mail and everyone involved is following these
threads. Please advise.
