it would be better if we can transmit within a range that regular radios can pick up so there can be many receivers including phones with built in radio receivers.

along the same lines.  one solution that I like is the "silent disco"
gear.  an off FCC band of AM i believe.  transmit up to 3 channels to
headsets that can receive any of the 3.

also to be use for video presentations and like has been suggested...
movie night.

by the way, I have Michael Moore on tap to make popcorn for OWS movie
night.  Tues or Wed 10pm.  We will need lots of coverage once I set
this up.

anyone know who is working on this already?  we need to align.
