When I slept there this weekend we had tents and tarps up all over.  NNU had a first aid tent up prominently.

If they really want to be super awesome, we need more space.  We need our own bathrooms, community showers.  I have no idea if this is within their means or not.  Ben & Jerry's is a very progressive company when you look into them, their max pay ratio versus the common worker is better than the Soviet Union.  It's rather telling that they were the first "mainstream" ones to stick their necks out for us and declare support.

legal help forcing the city to allow tents.  It's going to be much, much harder to overwinter without them.

Yeah how about a whole bunch of cold weather gear.  What do they wear when they are walking around the ice cream freezers?

Anything more immediate? I suspect flavor development and release takes a while, and we gotta get through a difficult winter before it's ice cream time again.

They stand really firmly with us and want to know how they can help out. At the same time, they're conscious of our anxieties surrounding co-optation and don't want their support to be a PR thing for them. Anyone have good ideas about steps they can take? E-mail here or off-list.

Cheers,
