Andrew it seems fairly straight forward to me - Creative Commons.
We should not be... contracting to shoot material using the resources of the media WG. If a production company, corporation, celebrity (whatever) wants to buy footage then they can reach out to the individual who shot it and license it from them.

Great ya'll, like I said, thanks for the input, I intend to ask anyones permission before videos go to any other source.
This calls for more research and open document creation for media to educate all on how to utilize the outlets surrounding us, but find a compromise with them to reach the best deal for us, and not be taken advantage of. I say, for all the celebrities, I personally will not give them anything until they commit to us on more of a superficial level. Us shooting everything and licensing after consent by parties in the picture is our best compromise. Unfortunately this sounds a bit like totalitarian regimes, so there should be a balance, and over all more transparency, and if were not going to shoot something , if you're in solidarity with the world so that they can follow by example, be a representative for all the folks who aren't here who will miss an opportunity to view our wonderous movement if some one is trying to keep meetings private for whatever reason. Yes, consent is important.

It seems any Working Group would have to sign off on who is to 'buy'
and use the footage. To use OWSMedia cache to enter a group, with the
intent to sell the footage to an outside source, without notice to the
working group, would be a breach of trust.
