As someone who blocked the structure proposal last week because I thought it was moving too fast, I want to say I fully support the proposal now. The structure group has done a lot of outreach, gotten a lot of feedback, and has made some serious improvements to the proposal. The changes include a better description of the problem to be solved, the ability of the GA to dissolve the council, and most importantly removal of the "clusters" which was an unnecessary layer of bureaucracy.
If you think that the working groups need a more streamlined way to communicate, get funding, and account for their spending and their work, please come tonight to help pass the proposal. If you are against the proposal please give it a chance to work for a while. If it doesn't work well, the GA is empowered to dissolve the council on consensus with one weeks notice.
Thank You, John

I'm in the structure working group.
For the last 3-4 weeks we've been meeting to discuss
the coordination and communication problems in OWS.
The result is the following proposal:http://www.nycga.net/spokes-council/
Tonight, we will be presenting at the GA.
We need this.
