We are failing and succeeding in many ways.  We learn, we mobilize, we adjust, we correct, and we charge on.  I hear you Cesar, but I know we are all doing our best.  I could list what I have been working on.  And detail why I was  not able to do more.  And how bad I feel for out campers.  Instead, we should all use this weather to prepare for the winter, a sustainable weather prepared encampment.  Solidarity ( not empty but varied in manifestation ).

Actually Robert was right.
The response to the cold weather was totally inappropriate. After reading this, I went from 60 Wall St. to Liberty Plaza, and I realized that we were failing in many ways...

It is deeply disturbing to me to see people discussing principles of solidarity from the confort of your computers when our greatest enemy, WINTER, knocked on our door. Tarps are not holding the snow, tents are soaked inside and freezing, people here at camp are feeling the punch, and people keep fighting for stupid details of something that is absent in their very actions and attitudes: Solidarity. The conversation needs to be shifted, our only concern right now should be the simple statement: we are freezing, we need help, we must have the infrastructure in place to survive winter. In response to this, please dont just throw your personal opinions - first listen to the OCCUPIERS  holding our ground bravely, let their voice be heard above all else: they are the ones directly affected. Not only in NYC, but across the other occupations.

Robert, freezing cold day one occupier.
