It's also very possible for a keyboard capture virus to steal your login id & password.
Do either of you use Windows (Windows is known to have a million more viruses than Mac)?
Is it possible that either of you ever logged on to your account from another computer?
In any case, make sure your computer is scanned for viruses, then immediately change your gmail password again.

A quick heads up...
My name is Jim and I'm in nyc regularly. The last time I was there I helped out with the livestream, where I met Thorin and Dwayne. I'm also in Chicago and very active with occupychi.
Late yesterday I had a brief personal email exchange with Dwayne, for the first time. A few hours later I received a gmail alert saying that my account was accessed twice in nyc at about the same time I was accessing it here. Google apparently sends these notices when it recognizes something that looks fishy to them along with a suggestion to change your password immediately. I have never received one before.
What this means is that either someone in nyc coincidentally figured out my very secure password and hacked into my account late last night for no apparent reason, or someone did so after seeing my exchange with Dwayne.
If the latter, it would indicate that at least some people in nyc's personal emails are being watched by either hackers or law enforcement. As you all probably know, secret 'sneak and peek' investigations as well as warrant-less National Security Letters are permitted by the Patriot Act, so it could be law enforcement or any hacker trolling for incriminating info about the movement.
I could be totally off on this, but it is one hell of a coincidence. I am absolutely not a conspiracy theorist, but the timing of this breach feels very suspicious to me.
If anyone has a relevant contact at the NLG or ACLU, please forward this their way. It may of use if they are analyzing patterns of similar occurrences for future FOIA requests.
