We came to consensus on the following statement:
The New York City General Assembly is an open, participatory and
horizontally organized process through which we are building the
capacity to constitute ourselves in public as autonomous collective
forces within and against the constant crises of our times.
When I talk to the press I keep this in mind.

Ultimately you talk longer than you intended, and they have tons of stuff to edit into those 30 seconds. So yes, practice you clip over and over again until you can recite it perfectly.
