This is great, Jackie, we really need to expand the movement!

Nelini Stamp from the Working Families Party has been organizing a group from Occupy Wall Street at Zucotti Park to do labor support actions. She was going to try to call a working group together after the General Assembly (but so far it hasn’t seemed to ever end). The plan that was being made was to go between 2 and 2:30 tomorrow, Monday, to the Central Park Boathouse (E. 72nd St – inside the park) to join the picket line of  Local 6 of the Hotel Trades Council who are trying to get recognition and a contract. Many were fired for supporting the union.  After that we may go to Sothebys (E 72nd St. and York Ave,) to support striking workers from Teamster Local 814. These are tough struggles. We should support them and ask them to send spokespersons to come to the Occupy Wall Street group and ask for support.

I second labor support, mobilization and outreach to workers. Especially those threatened by layoffs in DC 37 and ATU.

We'll see about that tonight....

Btw - acampada sol had 20 people first night. When arrests were made, thousands were in the street the next day.

If that happens, they'll all be arrested and we won't need the tents or grills. There is nowhere near the number of people needed to defend the space.
