Subject:   [september17discuss] CUNY STRIKE study circle relocating to Liberty Plaza this Saturday, 2-4pm!

Hello, lovelies! A newly forming study circle on the histories, politics, and specific strategies/tactics of striking--cleverly named "CUNY STRIKE study circle"--has been meeting for the last couple of months to watch films, read books, and all around get more clearly oriented on how to motivate and plan for strike actions in CUNY and NYC.

In solidarity with occupied Liberty Plaza, and in responding to its various general assemblies' calls for political education opportunities, we're moving our next study circle meet-up to Liberty Plaza this Saturday afternoon. Some of us will join the 12pm march around Wall Street, and then when we get back to the Plaza, we'll find a corner and discuss parts of Joe Burns' book Reviving the Strike from 2 to 4pm. Please email me if you'd like to get a free copy of the book via googledocs. I hope some of you will join our discussion this Saturday!
