I took it as eviction notice, notice in the sense that IF they choose to, they will be able to say notice had been given..  It said you can't lie down so how could people sleep?

I thought Justin in his 2 second sound bite sounded pretty good.

And besides, getting out of the park is what the city doesn't want to happen.  We would be much more serious trouble on the streets.

Justin, you were on WNYC saying that the documents with the site rules that Brookfield were giving out were "essentially eviction notices." Which isn't true, right? They were requests for the site to be cleaner... OWS needs to play nice with Brookfield, or at least seem to be, if pro-business people are to be brought over to the the OWS vision, which is what needs to happen if we are working towards systemic change.

And that is what I am committed to working towards.

If they give us a sound permit I'll eat my hat!  More likely to get one at a different location through a third party.

Has anyone already been to the precinct to request a sound permit?

If not, I'm planning to go tomorrow around 11am.

A sound permit is the element that would significantly change the
current dynamic of the assemblies.  Being able to organize assembies
with a loudspeaker instead the people´s mike would be a dream come
true. Imagine having GAs where we could speak normally again!  If you
need help in any way with getting the permit please inform us.
