What's wrong with that? As long as they aren't sweatshop-sourced T-shirts and such… people want to represent (but don't want to bother making their own shirts), under the current system (even if you don't agree with it? I don't know exactly where eveyone is politically) they are going to have to buy stuff… are there any other better places to give the money from that to?

thanks Justin, i support that notion and think it would if we could go through the GA that would best... we dont need to operate under a business model and sell merch... waste of time, we all have access to come cash, we can get money and donations in different ways other than selling MERCHANDISE... its not a horrible idea but can you picture an article in the media that says - GA supported by selling merch - that would be madness.

but lets get that idea to the GA

I am working with a wholesaler and an independent printing company to pull all the pieces together today so we can propose and be ready to go later today..... everyone has agreed to give OWS bargain basement pricing

I have already talked to Justine about setting up a store on ... stay tuned

Should someone propose this at the GA today?

We can't really keep people from selling things in our name across the world, but we can sanction some people to do it.

It should be clear that Kristin is not making any money from this. She is sending a donation check each month with the money that does not go to cafepress.

Since when does OWS have a store and a .com ... where did the OK come from... why is this on the gmail forum... how can we have someone making money or even the GA making any money EVEN if it will be used as a donation to the cause

I would say $20 for a Tshirt is about as high as we should go

I will also reccommend that she not mark up the prices so much, even if it means less money for us.

So i think i understand that people consent to her having this store under the conditions that all the items by "Made in the USA" and that there be clear agreement in advance about how the proceeds will get to our finance team.

if there are any blocks, please make them heard now or else i'll give her the go-ahead today and send everyone our written agreement.
