Just one thing: would it be possible to extend the sound permit to 6-10pm. We are planning events from 6 to 7pm, and it would be great to have amplification. Let me know if it can be added, or what can we do.

I went ahead and put a Sound Permit Request in two days ago September 28th. I have yet to hear anything back from the Precinct which is located at 65 Broadway(two blocks from the encampment).
I've yet to seriously follow up on the permit request and have heard nothing back from them. I'll try to walk over there tomorrow morning to follow up and also to put in another request for another sound permit. It doesn't cost any money to request a sound permit, you're only charged when it is accepted.
Final notes: I requested the permit for the max allowed time of 5 days. I also asked for two specific windows of time which were 1-3:30 pm and also 7-10pm. I'm still a little unsure why we're requesting the sound permit, so that info would be helpful.
Hope everyone's dancing,

Taping this is a great idea! We should definitely expose the video if
they do not allow us. It is so ridiculous that we cannot use
loudspeakers to organize our assemblies.
Is the legal committee looking into this?
